A wall of ice bricks falls continuously, blocking your way forward in the Hero Dash. It doesn't seem impassible, but barreling through the wall without a little preparation seems unwise.

If you've selected Lift the blocks but not Learn the pattern:

You've lifted N blocks.

If you've selected Learn the pattern but not Lift the blocks:

You've learned M clues.

If you've selected both Lift the blocks and Learn the pattern:

You've lifted N blocks and learned M clues.

Options:

  • Lift the blocks
  • Learn the pattern
  • Rush through
  • Maybe later

If you chose Lift the blocks:

Do You Even Lift, Hero?
You rub your hands together in preparation for a test of raw strength. It's like those hammer things and the fair, except the hammer is your fists and instead of a strength-o-meter, it's just a stack of giant blocks of ice. So, really, exactly the same.

If you ?:

You haul at the blocks with clearly superhuman strength, clearing the way for your future progress.

  • Lifts 2 blocks
Otherwise:

You haul and haul and haul at the blocks. They don't move that much, but they're probably at least a little out of alignment.

  • Lifts 1 block

If you chose Learn the pattern:

Cloud, Cloud, Go Away
You rub your hands together in preparation for a test of raw strength. It's like those hammer things and the fair, except the hammer is your fists and instead of a strength-o-meter, it's just a stack of giant blocks of ice. So, really, exactly the same.

If you have at least +15% bonus XP:

The blocks fall in endless patterns, like the percentage increases and decreases in stocks and bonds. It's pretty baffling, but you have a couple ideas.

  • Learn 3 clues
If you have at least +1% but less that 15% bonus XP:

The blocks fall in endless patterns, like the percentage increases and decreases in stocks and bonds. It's pretty baffling, but you have a couple ideas.

  • Learn 2 clues
Otherwise:

The blocks fall in endless patterns, like the percentage increases and decreases in stocks and bonds. It's pretty baffling, but you have an idea.

  • Learn 1 clue
And then, if you are wearing binoculars:

You peer at the blocks from a safe distance through your binoculars, which helps make sense of the whole thing.

  • Learn an additional 1 clue

If you chose Rush through:

Catchy Beeping
You charge through the falling blocks to the tune of Korobeiniki. Just need to get past those blocks...

It turns out your gigantic cybernetic hand is powerful enough to crush some of the ice, but you still take X damage from the weight and Y damage from the chill.

If you are defeated:

But that's all you have in you.
