A Strange Attack
You venture into the streets of the Hyde Park neighborhood, looking for any real leads. Part of the problem appears to be there's no centralized source of the incident. Instead there are scattered instances of weird lights--faerie fire, ball lightning, an unusually condensed occurrence of the aurora borealis, you can't really tell what it is. Occasionally stray sparks fly from exposed metal without any reason, only to subside a moment later. The night is charged with an unusual energy, but it seems to be coming from everywhere.
A sudden, curious chill grips your left arm, and for a moment you think you're having a heart attack until you remember you're a superhero and that's not the way you're going to go out. Weirdly, the chill then leaves your arm and appears in your left leg, before disappearing again. It's over as suddenly as it started. You're left feeling confused, and a little drained. You lose 5 PP.
