This is either a pair of pants that hit the lottery, or ones that went to school. I prefer to think of it as a scrappy diamond in the rough that worked their little hems to the bone doing all sorts of odd jobs while studying nights at the local community college so they could build up enough credits (and money) to pay for those final two years at a fine state school to realize their dream of being a well-rounded, smart and, yes, enriched pair of pants.
Instead, some silly hero is just gonna wear them. And complain of déjà vu.
