Gorgoneion's Charm
Plural: Gorgoneion's Charms
Gorgoneion was a hero from the Golden Age of Twilight who was a member of the Charmed Four, a group of superheroes put together by a PR firm to cash in on all the real heroes out there. They mostly relied on staged events and high tech gear, but they all wore a little charm bracelet with their symbol on it. Who knew their loyal fans would infuse those charms with power?

Gorgoneion was the leader of the group. Despite her name, she didn't have brass claws and she wasn't hideous to look at, she primarily played the role of "immovable object". Often, she would charge up to the front of the fight and stand there, absorbing blows from whatever villain they were fighting, allowing her teammates to do most of the actual attacking. I hear it's become something of a common tactic in team battles these days.

Sadly, Gorgoneion was also the first to leave the team, having heard too many jokes about having "the face that froze a thousand ships", and generally being sick of the spotlight. Without her leadership (and behind-the-scenes wheeling and dealing) the group didn't last very long.
