Given how only one pair occurs each retcon it will take me a while to confirm them for here. Given how the chips and xp have lined up I'd like to say therefore the weaknesses match but I'm doubtful. Given the broad spread on weaknesses in the last two areas I wouldn't be surprised if there is some variety between the pairs. If someone with a different pair than plaster/hammer can take a look at that pairings weaknesses that would be a huge help.

Their HP seems to fall between 16-18 most of the time. I'm guessing it has a range rather than being a static number. --Livia 18:17, 13 March 2008 (MST)

This is why we hate Ryme :-) - malk
Ryme: 18 months later, and nobody's gotten the joke behind the Cannonball Tavern name.
sakura: What joke?
Ryme: Cannonball is a type of dive. It's a dive bar.
Forgot to grab the text from the adventure, but the new update for the cannonball tavern is a choice thing called "Let's Play a Game", with 4 choices. The results are very predictable. There's a choice to armwrestle, a choice to play trivia, and a choice to play darts. Those three give 1 of the obvious stat. The forth option is to look a little harder for a fight, which probably means you don't use a turn and just go directly to a fight. - Satan

Shall We Play A Game?
You scope out the action in the dive bar, but for the moment the chaos is at a lull. No brawling, no scrapping, no serious acts of intimidation. Just a bunch of loud and rowdy people drinking and playing games.

  • Get into an armwrestling contest
  • Play trivia
  • Play darts
  • Look around a little harder for a fight
[Choose your form of action]

The Right to Bare Arms
As a veteran hero there's simply nobody in this bar who can match your muscular prowess. One after another they fall to you: Larry, Little Mike, Lazy J, T-Bone, Hungry Ralph, Big Mike, Jake, Bobby T, and yes, even Thor. For an encore you bench press one of the bar benches, with Big Mike and Little Mike sitting on it at the time. The guys are all very impressed, but don't think it'll keep a besotted brawler from trying to pick a fight next time you come through the doors.

You gain 1 strength.

Nontrivial Pursuit
You sit down at the bar and pass some time answering multiple choice questions about random subjects. You get a few right, you get a few wrong, a couple of the facts even manage to stick in your head for a while.

You gain 1 intellect.

Playing Cool Playing Darts
You decide darts sound like the most fun, so you spend some time throwing sharp, pointy objects across a room full of drunken, staggering people. It's as much of a challenge avoiding all the people as it is getting the darts into the board. Definitely good target practice, though.

You gain 1 reflexes.

4th option leads to a fight with a tough biker:
You are fighting a tough biker.

You scour the bar, searching for someone who is up to no good. In chicken-and-egg fashion, a particularly tough biker staggers out of the shadows and takes issue with your scrutiny, deciding that he's going to be up to no good with you.

Better chips and exp than normal tavern enemies, no drops.

retcon change

Seems to me you either get brawling drunkard and drunken brawler or plowed trashman and trashed plowman. Other than names and descriptions they are identical. --Muhandes 06:11, 29 September 2010 (PDT)

Elemental Resistances

Given how only one pair occurs each retcon it will take me a while to confirm them for here. Given how the chips and xp have lined up I'd like to say therefore the weaknesses match but I'm doubtful. Given the broad spread on weaknesses in the last two areas I wouldn't be surprised if there is some variety between the pairs. If someone with a different pair than plaster/hammer can take a look at that pairings weaknesses that would be a huge help.
