Code of thieves
code of thieves
Plural: codes of thieves
You wouldn't expect thieves (or pirates) to have a code of conduct, but they actually do. And not just when they're singing about their clothes. Even the super-serious modern "reimagined" thieves have a code of conduct. By reading this (admittedly thin) book your sidekick can learn the ins and outs of being a proper, honorable thief.
Please note, this only applies to thieves. It doesn't cover rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, bandits, muggers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, train robbers, bank robbers, or kickers of any stripe.
