Kookoo the Klown |
---|
You are fighting Kookoo the Klown.
There are a lot of different types of clowns out there. Happy clowns, sad clowns, car clowns, silly clowns, rodeo clowns, demented clowns, and clowns of the purest evil. Guess which type Kookoo is?
Your opponent attacks ...
Hit messages:
- Kookoo hits you with a pie. Its flavor is dynamite meringue, and it's explosively tasty.
- Someone feeds the Klown a bite of his favorite cereal, and he explodes into hyperactivity. When the dust settles, you're dinged up pretty good.
- Kookoo calls in an assault squad consisting of lots of clowns jammed into one tiny car. The squad runs you down, then has a fire drill where all the clowns get out, kick you once while you're down, and then all cram back in the car and drive off.
He hits you for X damage.
Critical hit message:
Your opponent has a critical hit! He hits you for X damage.
Miss messages:
- The clown scurries into the sewers and causes some nearby pipes to creak and groan in an ominous, sinister fashion. You're thoroughly spooked, but spooky can't actually hurt you here.
- He gets distracted by a box of his favorite cereal, frosted cocoa-fruity marshmallow blasts, and can't do anything else.
- Kookoo should be attacking you, but sometimes (like now) he just can't help clowning around.
Fumble messages:
Your foe fumbles! He takes X damage.

You gain (8*Level, cap 400) experience.
You got an item: Kookoo's pie pitcher (Guaranteed Drop)

- The mention of pipes in the first miss message is a reference to Stephen King's horror novel It, while "spooky can't really hurt you here" is a reference to spooky damage in Kingdom of Loathing, a turn-based MMORPG.
- The second miss message refers to the Cocoa Puffs mascot, Sonny the Cuckoo Bird, except with the in-game frosted cocoa-fruity marshmallow blasts.
