Talk:Jade Torch Signet Ring

During normal fights, sometimes (randomly? I have seen psi attacks and crits without this triggering, but I have seen it multiple time in a row in the same combat) > You try to imagine something cool for your Jade Torch ring to create. But you just come up with a mental block. On the bright side, your mental blocks appear as giant green walls your opponent can't get through. Probably blocks the attack (it's hard to tell with high level character)

Casting Jade Torch:

You imagine something other than a wall, say... a mallet. It falls on your foe with a resounding clang.

It turns out the power of imagination was in you all along. Now set people on fire with it.

Wow. It'll be a bit before you can do that again. You gain an effect: Nova Recovery (Added for 120 minutes.)

Your opponent is too stunned to act.

The stun appears to be only for this round.
Afterwards, casting spells:

Imagination! You throw a handful of sparks, burning your opponent for 69 damage. [normal sparks hit @34]
Critical Imagination! You throw a handful of sparks, burning your opponent for 51 damage. [woth normal imagination being 34 against this opponent, with no known resistance; and normal spraks being 17 damage]
Imagination! A torrential rain of fire pounds your foe into the ground, delivering 1076 damage. [normal: 535]
Imagination! You locate your opponent's mind and reach out with your own, giving a moderate poke for 82 damage. [normal: 42]
Imagination! You blast your opponent with an ice bolt, dealing 92 damage. [normal: 46, critical imagination: 138]
Imagination! You summon a powerful miniature tornado, which spins your opponent around violently, making your foe dizzy and dealing 146 damage.

Nothing for stun gas, kangaroo punch, shock grenade, electric net.
Works several times in the same combat even for the same spell.

Looks like it increases critical multiplier by +1 (I have other sources of +spell damage and +spell% damage, but this is the same *2 as normal critical damage, and critical imagination is *3) --XKiv (talk)
