As is typical for executives that don't really understand "these kids" and their "hippity-hop" music, these armbands are a horribly failed experiment. In trying to cash in on digital music players, some genius embedded a few dozen iPlod Yoctos into these nylon wristbands. It only took about two seconds for them to get all out of synch and now they do weird things to your hearing.
