tormented hero

You are fighting a tormented hero.

This former hero fell victim to the Tormentor long ago and has been sent here for treatment. Locked in a hellish battle within his mind, the hero only acknowledges the outside world by attempting to pulverize anything or anyone that comes near him. It's a nasty habit, but one that's understandably difficult to remedy.

Hit messages:

• The hero decides he needs to smash anything that's in his cell and more than 3.5 feet away from him. Unfortunately for you, you just dodged backwards and were standing 4 feet away at the time.
• The hero kicks you unto next week, and then drags you back again--by your hair.
• "Get out of my head," the hero shouts, pummeling you. Apparently he thinks you're an illusion. After the beating is over, you wish you had been imaginary.

• The tormented hero decides you're probably as imaginary as the voices in his head, and tries to ignore you.
