Do you like gingerbread? I sure like gingerbread. This is a little cookie in the shape of a person, with tiny little gumdrop buttons and tiny little candy eyes. Tiny little glowing eyes. Um... okay... that's odd.

• Without a current companion:

You set the gingerbread man down on the ground and he immediately starts running around, yelling in a high pitched voice about how you'll never catch him. Okay, that's annoying. (Duration: 60 minutes.)

• When Gingerbread man is your current companion:

You toss another cookie down and it starts running around with the first one.

• When you have a different companion:

You aren't about to set down one of these cookies. Your current companion might eat it!

You head on over to <player> and hand them a gingerbread man. They seem exceptionally happy to receive it. The look of pure, almost child-like joy at the simple act just warms your heart. All the way down to the cockles. Even in the sub-cockle region. You get an effect, Holiday Cheer. (Added for 30 minutes.)

Trying to return the item to yourself:

This is a holiday gift. It's meant to be generously given to someone else. Someone else is, by definition, not yourself. Also, as you already have it, giving it to yourself is the same as doing nothing. See?
