Plural: Belle Lokai's benighted coins
Forged on a world even more obsessed with day and night than Earth, where the morning people and night owls fought an unspeakable war. The war raged for generations, with neither side giving or receiving quarter, eventually leaving a poignant moral lesson as the only survivor.
This side of the coin still holds the darkness of that strange world's long nights. But it's not the scary darkness, just the kind of darkness where everyone else is asleep and you can get things done.
