Seal o' canth
seal o' canth
Plural: seals o' canth
This is a little metal disc, imprinted with a relief of a fish. Also etched into the metal is the word "canth," whatever that means. No point in fussing about it, though: if you canth beat em', join 'em.

- Without a current companion:
- You hold up the fish medallion to the moonlight, examining the image. A little monkey scurries down from some unknown heights, leaps up onto your shoulder, and grabs the metal from you, chittering in delight. It doesn't even occur to you to object, because a cute monkey friend is thousands of times better than a metal stamp of a silly fish. (Duration: 60 minutes.)
- When Monkey is your current companion:
- You hold up another one of the medallions, and the monkey grabs it gleefully. What ever happened to the old one that it had? You have to assume the monkey dropped it somewhere.
- When you have a different companion:
- You hold the medal up to the moonlight, but anything that might be interested in it must be scared of your current sidekick.
