Should Have Been a Linebacker

After losing the jewelry thief the first time, you tried staking out the office building where you think he disappeared, but there are too many people working there and you didn't get a good enough look at the guy to be able to pick him out of a crowd. Instead you decide to patrol around another jewelry store a few blocks away from the first one. Someplace that's close enough to be convenient for an escape route, but not right on top of the other one.

Turns out that was a pretty good idea, because while you're watching a man in a trench coat, who looks at least something like the figure you followed before, pauses in front of the store window and looks around in a shifty fashion for a moment. Then he whips out a shortish metal club and thwacks the glass. The guy must be amazingly strong, because even though it crumples like shatterproof glass and shouldn't shatter, it only takes three swings for the guy to smash his way inside.

He's quick, too. He's already climbing back out the window by the time you've crossed the street. Without hesitation you tackle him and wrestle him to the ground. It's a tough fight, but with the advantage of surprise you manage to subdue him and keep him pinned until the police arrive.

They grumble a bit about wishing you'd mind your own business, but they still hand over the reward being offered by the owner of the previous store. Bonus!

You gain 500 chips.

A single jewel thief isn't going to be responsible for a spike in street crime downtown, though. It looks like this is a dead end in that respect.
