It seems like it only randomizes the first time you go to a page, then it stays the same. I tried with 2 browsers and they gave me 2 different motto's, but stayed the same every time I refresh the page. --PKProStudio 15:34, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- I can confirm that. Even clearing the cache (by pressing CTRL-F5 in Firefox) yields no different motto. Strange. --Alarion 15:59, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- If you could remember what it was today for each of you, I'd like to check if at least it updates once a day. Anyway, until olaf installs an implementation of #rand (or implements one himself) that's the best I know how to do--Muhandes 16:42, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

- Me too. Right now it's the PC-Gamer-quote on the Main Page and "Who needs sleep..." on the template page. Interesting that it differs on those two pages. --Alarion 17:16, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- It seems like it goes by some internal parameter which dates the last time the page was HTTP parsed, which is different from page to page, and also changes according to some internal reasoning. I'll keep it this way for now.--Muhandes 17:23, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
