You head down the firing range, expecting to find more weird cyborg vehicles or cybernetic royalty or cyborg pastries.

Instead, you find yourself ambushed by a cyborg soldier. Sure, you're getting shot at, but it's almost a relief. Maybe they have a sane scientist on the team somewhere.

Hit messages:

  • The cyborg shoots you. Hey, no reason to mess with the classics, right?
  • The cyborg tosses an old-fashioned stick grenade at you. You're left wondering how they can afford cybernetics but not modern grenades while it explodes. damage + (fire) damage
  • The cyborg snipes an apple off your head, which would have been less disturbing if you'd known how he got the apple there. (psychic) damage



He hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! He hits you for X damage.



Miss messages:

  • The cyborg shoots you, but you dodge with practiced ease. Well... that might explain why the villains in Twilight keep changing things up.
  • The cyborg soldier tosses an old-fashioned stick grenade at you. Apparently it was an antique and is rushed off by cyborg flea-marketers.
  • The cyborg offers to snipe an apple off your head. You, wisely, decline.



Fumble messages:

Your foe fumbles! He takes X damage.


Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!

Bullets zip down the firing range, but you're smart enough to get out of the way.

  • The name of the foe refers to the M16 rifle.
  • The third hit and miss messages refer to the Swiss folk hero William Tell, who was forced to shoot an apple from his son's head.
