|desc=Captain Nocturnal was one of the more esoteric of Twilight's golden era heroes. He had power over any nocturnal animal, and would use them in his war against crime. Nobody's quite sure how he was able to get them to act as he wanted, nor why his powers wouldn't work on animals active during the day, but nobody questioned his effectiveness. Sadly, he was one of the shortest lived heroes in the history of Twilight. He was stopping some smugglers down by the docks when a flock of bats surrounded him and he vanished.

These were one of his trademark items, a pair of tough, scaly serpent skin pants that somehow granted him the lightning-quick striking ability of the deadliest snakes. In keeping with his theme, they're a matte black color, which makes it easy to accessorize them. After all, what's the point of fighting crime if you're going to be a fashion victim?
