Yet another thing I noticed about this enemy: it seems you cannot encounter him before Alien Geology 101. I'll try it with another character, then I'll add it to the page. Disproves are welcome. :-) --Alarion 13:28, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

:Okay, seems it was coincidence. With my flying Naturalist I finally got a buzzing swarm before the first noncombat in this area. Yay scientific method! --Alarion 13:58, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Seems it has no hit messages. Only "...and misses.", "and misses (sweet!)", as well as "and misses (phew!)" encountered so far. Anyone got some hit messages? --Alarion 11:44, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Doesn't have any. Question: did you verify all 7 resistances before adding the |res? Just making sure. --Muhandes 12:01, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Yep, I did. My trident does around 40 damage, and it did so for Ice, Psychic and Acid. It did about 60 for Fire. And it always did 1 physical (normal) damage, while the other foes in that area took 1700 damage or so. Seems pretty accurate to me. --Alarion 12:05, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, wow. I'm confused. When using the trident to do elemental damage I require substantially more than 10 rounds to kill this buzzing swarm. The opponent therefore has at least 400 HP. BUT: if I cast a Mind Jab, I do about 70 psychic damage and ... it dies. Instantly. In the first round of combat. What gives? Is the trident's elemental ray buggy? Should I report this? --Alarion 12:20, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Trident elemental damage is buggy, Ryme's been notified. Cristiona 13:58, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
