Yet another thing I noticed about this enemy: it seems you cannot encounter him before Alien Geology 101. I'll try it with another character, then I'll add it to the page. Disproves are welcome. :-) --Alarion 13:28, 24 August 2009 (UTC) | Yet another thing I noticed about this enemy: it seems you cannot encounter him before Alien Geology 101. Seems it has no hit messages. Only "...and misses.", "and misses (sweet!)", as well as "and misses (phew!)" encountered so far. Anyone got some hit messages? --Alarion 11:44, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- Doesn't have any. Question: did you verify all 7 resistances before adding the |res? Just making sure. --Muhandes 12:01, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yep, I did. My trident does around 40 damage, and it did so for Ice, Psychic and Acid. It did about 60 for Fire. And it always did 1 physical (normal) damage, while the other foes in that area took 1700 damage or so. Seems pretty accurate to me. --Alarion 12:05, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, wow. I'm confused. When using the trident to do elemental damage I require substantially more than 10 rounds to kill this buzzing swarm. The opponent therefore has at least 400 HP. BUT: if I cast a Mind Jab, I do about 70 psychic damage and ... it dies. Instantly. In the first round of combat. What gives? Is the trident's elemental ray buggy? Should I report this? --Alarion 12:20, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- Trident elemental damage is buggy, Ryme's been notified. Cristiona 13:58, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, okay. No haste then. Shame, that, then. Would've been really useful against the swarm. :/ --Alarion 14:07, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
