When Used in Combat

You hurl the magnetar at the a lesser ghast-ly fiend from the abyss. A moving magnetic field produces an electric field, and this is a very powerful magnet, and it's moving very fast. Within moments the air is filled with electricity, some of which shocks your opponent for ?-54-62-? damage.

sometimes, in addition:
Some of the electricity in the air rubs off on you, too. Not enough to hurt, just enough to add a little sparkle, if you will, to your perspective. You gain an effect: Electric with excitement[sic]. (Added for 35 minutes.)

or

With a flick of your wrist, you embed the magnetar in the floor directly at your opponent's feet. What at first appears to be a near miss turns into a direct hit as the uber-powerful magnet draws several pounds of electromagnetically charged items directly into it. Your opponent takes ?-52-66-? damage.

sometimes, in addition:
You pick up one of the smaller items as skitters across the floor toward the magnet.
