: Yes, I went over it and it seems correct. With -10 offense and +2 toughness you'd expect less damage if there was also a -20 in effect.--[[User:Muhandes|Muhandes]] 11:11, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

I removed "but they are not giants in the Quijote sense" because I felt it does not contribute to understanding the enchantment, and causes confusion if one does not know what "giants in the Quijote sense" is. Care to explain what you meant? --[[User:Muhandes|Muhandes]] 05:32, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

Removed 'The "defense against windmills" modifier is probably a joke' as it was confirmed as such (a long LONG time ago) and seems irrelevant. --Pantomine

  • Other joke effects are still noted as such on other items. Furthermore a new player who wasn't here "a long LONG time ago" wouldn't necessarily be aware. Cristiona

Grumpy Grey Giant:

Run 1: robo cap, Quijote's spear, pseudo-chitin armor (just tryin' it out as a side foolery), xentrium gauntlets, xentrium boots; xentrium shield, shoehorn, the Scottish necklace, Ebon Eye of the Deep, Lexura Infinides D-8; Flea market trader sidekick Metal Detector, Fire Shield, Air Shield

Damage: 78, 101, 78, 90, 90, 94, 80, 93, 85, 84, 93, 88, 99, 86, 90, 82, 86 Used my EMP device for 548 damage. Immediately ran away.

Run 2: robo cap, smart axe, pseudo-chitin armor, xentrium gauntlets, xentrium boots; coil of rope, shoehorn, the Scottish necklace, Ebon Eye of the Deep, Lexura Infinides D-8; Mimic sidekick Metal Detector, Fire Shield, Air Shield (-10 offensive power, +2 foe toughness)

Damage: 82, 81, 89 EMP for 1612 damage. Got bored, so I auto-attacked till' I came out with less than half HP and victory.

Looking at these numbers, I don't see any boost in damage from Quijote's spear against GGGs, especially seeing as if anything, Run 2 should be doing less damage. Yeah, I didn't get much data that run, but I think the results rule out a major damage boost from the spear.

If this isn't acceptable as serious spading, tell me what I did wrong so that I can fix it and get this outta the way.
