SQUID player
Plural: SQUID players
I guess you could call this thing a hat of sorts. It's a mesh of wires and various other technical devices which looks as much like some tentacled aquatic animal as headgear. It's designed to allow certain software to interface directly with your brain, providing fast and vivid learning.
Or, on the streets, mostly various forms of entertainment. Certain abuses have made this device unpopular with lawmakers, and it's illegal to buy one (but oddly, not to possess one) within Twilight city limits.
