A black, leathery, humanoid creature, with huge wings, a barbed tail, and a blank space where you would expect its face to be. It looks like something out of a nightmare and it swoops down at you, claws extended.

Hit messages:
- It grabs you firmly, giving you an up-close look at its featureless face. Trust me, it's really creepy. Well, you've probably seen the Matrix, so it's like that, but with less face.
- Special Attack: The nightgaunt's attack leaves you mentally shaken. You acquire an effect: distracted. (Added for 30 minutes.)
- It swipes at you with its claws, gouging and cutting you. That's got to be marginally better than being coughed and gutted.
- It holds you tight and lashes you with its barbed tail. The "one to grow on" at the end smarts the most.
