You are fighting a graboid.
Bursting up from the floor, attracted by the sound of your footsteps, is the horrific graboid. Well, that's what you call it. Regardless, it looks like a large sand squid and appears to be covered in slime. It's the cosmic horror trifecta: huge size, tentacles, and slime.

- You shiver as it starts sending you thoughts. It's in your head! (psychic) damage
- It dives underground, causing a small tremor, knocking you to the ground and causing rocks to fall on you. You don't have any dynamite to drive it off a cliff.
- It wraps some of those tentacles around you, squeezing and crushing. Why does everything you find while using the clock seem to have tentacles?
- Special Attack: You find yourself slowed by the assault from the graboid. You acquire an effect: Sluggish. (Added for 30 minutes.)
