SQUID disc: The Best Memory
Plural: SQUID discs: The Best Memory
This SQUID disc contains the very best memory ever remembered by anyone anywhere. It's so good that just thinking about the memory causes one to ....

Er, what was that? No, see, I was telling you about the time that I played this SQUID disc and there was this ....

Huh? What are you doing here? What memory do you want to hear about? Oh, you mean the time that ...

Editor's note: This commentary is not actually the best memory ever remembered. No, this is just a description. The real best memory ever remembered didn't actually go anything at all like this.

How Obtained

Intermission
When Used

Without some type of SQUID Player in your inventory:

You'd like to use the SQUID disc, but you don't have a device capable of playing it.

With some kind of SQUID Player in your inventory:

With a little trepidation, you load your disc player with The Best Memory Ever Remembered. It's not really possible to say much about it, other than it's even better than advertised. When it's over you're drained, laughing (or maybe weeping), and utterly astounded by all of life in a way you never imagined possible. You gain X XP.

Notes

  • An ultra-rare item.
  • X is 10% of current XP, with a minimum of 1000 and an 200,000 maximum.
  • The bonuses from items like the eye podule and the skill Fast Learner still apply to the capped amount.

References

  • Refers to the song Tribute by Tenacious D, which is a tribute to "The Greatest Song in the World".
