ZOM-M Eighty |
---|
You are fighting a ZOM-M Eighty.
Integrating guns into cyborgs doesn't sound like a bad idea, except from the inevitable cyborg uprising angle. But integrating explosives sounds like a terrible idea.
Well, maybe except from the inevitable cyborg uprising angle.
Your opponent attacks ...
Hit messages:
- The ZOM explodes. It seems mostly okay afterwards, so maybe the design is better than you thought. (fire) damage
- The cyborg explodes into song. Apparently, even if the pyrotechnics won't get you, the singing will. (sonic) damage
- The cyborg blows up a pile of munitions next to you, showering you with hot lead. Apparently very old munitions. damage + (fire) damage
It hits you for X damage.
Critical hit message:
Your opponent has a critical hit! It hits you for X damage.
Miss messages:
- The ZOM explodes with rage, but you wait for it to burn out.
- The cyborg explodes into song, but stops and sulks when you start dancing the robot.
- The cyborg blows up a pile of munition crates, but you emptied those out a while ago. They still had lead in them! No reason to risk that getting into the environment.
Fumble messages:
Your foe fumbles! It takes X damage.

Notes
- At the end of each round of combat,
- Bullets zip down the firing range, but you're smart enough to get out of the way.
- or
- Bullets zip down the range. They don't seem to be aimed at you, per se, but that doesn't stop them from dealing you X damage.
