brazier of coals
Plural: braziers of coals
Braziers of coal are an underappreciated component in villainous architecture. They provide light, so you're not bumbling around in the dark like an idiot, while also keeping it dim and smoky so nobody knows quite what you're doing. Get a creepy altar and a couple of these, then call yourself Thoth-Ram or Mola-Amon or something.
Just remember: coals and carpet don't mix. The first hero that comes in will push the brazier over and set everything on fire.
