It hits you for X damage.
Critical hit message:
Your opponent has a critical hit! It hits you for X damage.
Miss messages:
- It lobs a live grenade at you, but you quickly defrag it.
 - It attacks with a knife made from a C# shell, but you've already got your Perl defenses up.
 - It tries to disassemble you, but apparently it's coded in assembly language and doesn't know how to disassemble.

Fumble messages:
Your foe fumbles! It takes X damage.
Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!
You gain 50 experience.
