David C. Rockett is down, and basically out. As his parting words he shouts, "Remember the Conference Room Alamo!" Man, what's next, the siege of Troy? Wait, remember the Alamo, that gives you an idea! Use the basement!

Well, you're not near the basement, but you can use a lower floor. It's only a few minutes to run back down one flight, knock out a couple of support beams, undermine the floor joists, and let the whole center of the room come crashing down. You sprint back upstairs and creep around the tattered edges of the room's floor while the remaining sharpshooters dust themselves off down below.

Hey, wait a minute! The Alamo doesn't have a basement. That was just a hoax in some silly movie. Oh, well, looks like the strategy worked well enough, either way.
