As far as I know, what it should do -5 attacks, with a minimum of one attack. So it should mostly act as a one attack ranged weapon. What you describe seems like a bug and should be reported, though I suspect it is only a textual bug, as in effect it does attack once. --[[User:Muhandes|Muhandes]] 14:03, 19 October 2010 (PDT)

I think the -5 attacks thing was fixed.  Also, nobody will ever get this, but this weapon was inspired by the death rays on the robots in {{wikipedia|Impossible Mission}}.  Honestly don't know if that's even worth mentioning on the front page as it's not exactly a "reference", but I figured I'd mention it while I was here. How exactly does the "-5 extra ranged attack(s) per turn" feature work, and is there anything that can be done to make this weapon useful? I tried it and it mostly doesn't do anything, with messages like "You attack ... absolutely nothing happens when you pull the trigger. Did you forget to install that Tosche power converter?", but every now and then it says I hit "-2 times" and the damage is huge. Hannahmaus 08:27, 19 October 2010 (PDT)
