Not sure on how to spade the XP for these so I'll just put it here I got 82 XP (LVL 9 Gadgeteer) from this encounter.
Also caught this in chat so I'm guessing they will change in the next few days.
[Normal] Kurg: WOW
[Normal] Kurg: 205 xp at level 2
[Normal] Kurg: Not sure if that was intentional or not :)
[Normal] Ryme: ah, carp. Probably needs to scale like the cube does
[Normal] Kurg: Thing is the Cube needs unlocking, this just needs range 4
[Normal] Ryme: yes, so it definitely needs to scale

I'm going to go on record to say I regret ever having the genius idea of trying to figure out the xp range for this adventure. It reaches the cap of 80-95xp when you reach level 8, and so onward to the ranges observed for levels 1 to 7:
Level | XP Range |
1 | 35-41 |
2 | 41-49 |
3 | 48-56 |
4 | 54-64 |
5 | 61-72 |
6 | 67-80 |
7 | 74-87 |
8 | 80-95 |
The basic details are at least 100 instances of the adventure were observed at each level if not more as was the case for later levels where survival was more feasible. Given the nature of the RNG even with 100+ instances per level there is a chance I missed the low or high values on this. So grain of salt and other such disclaimers.
I'm more inclined to put the table above into the actual page because while I did get a pair of equations that fit with the ranges observed it isn't exactly user friendly. With that said the range I observed is approximately [(45/7)x + (200/7)] to [(54/7)x + (233/7)] where x is equal to your level. Beautiful isn't it? If anyone is feeling mathematically inclined and can make that look more presentable that would be appreciated.
With that said I am going to leave this here for probably a week or so just to see if anybody has any input on this. If there are no objections during that period I'll put the table on the entry page and consider this adventure done for the time being. --Valmo 23:12, 3 November 2011 (PDT)
