The last guy wore them way too much and started seeing things at the edge of the universe, and we all know that there's stuff out there that man was not meant to know. The last thing we need is more babbling heroes going on about creatures moving through angles of time, mad piping demons, and strangers wearing no masks. Honestly, it's just gauche.
