Mecha Nist's Night-vision Helmet
Plural: Mecha Nist's Night-Vision Helmets
While the golden era of Twilight isn't known for its anti-heroes or borderline vigilantes, it's hard to argue that Mecha Nist was all sunshine and roses. Mr. Nist kept his hideout deep in the mountains, which was the only place that had enough room to hide his "projects." Those projects were, of course, gigantic robots that frequently caused more collateral damage than the crime they were stopping. He lasted the longest of all the golden era heroes, with his giant robots saving the day on a number of occasions well into what's considered the silver age.

This helmet is one of his signature pieces of equipment. It looks like a modified welding mask (because it is), but has been altered extensively to give him both perfect vision at night as well as supplying targeting information for his various devices and weapons. It also makes it look like you've got creepy red eyes. Pretty cool.
