Mirror of Oreh
Plural: Mirrors of Oreh
This little mirror is practically humming with energy. What it was created for, or what the strange, mystical writing around the frame is lost to the mists of time. Oreh. What could it possibly mean? Of course, you don't have time to fiddle around with such eldritch and arcane knick-knacks, so this would probably be the perfect thing for your sidekick to mess around with. I'm sure it's perfectly safe, right?

Right?

Gives your sidekick understudy a new skill.

How Obtained

When Used

First time:
You stare into the mirror, but it doesn't do much other than reflecting you. Which is good, but not really shocking for a mirror.

You hand it over to your sidekick, who looks into it, also seeing you... which doesn't seem right. It's not some weird optical illusion or foreshadowing time travel! Nope!

Your sidekick just looks like a really young version of you now. So I guess maybe a little time travel.

Your sidekick learns a role: Mirror Protege.

Subsequent times:
You know what happens when you get a reflection of a reflection? No? I'm not sure either, but it's probably either infinite sidekicks or one the size of a mouse. Probably best not to mess with the creepy mirror... again.

During the Cat and Mick-y Mouse Game quest:
Your kidnapped sidekick isn't available for training right now. The whole being kidnapped thing, you know.

Notes

  • When bought: You slide the shopkeeper 10 silver stars and he reflexively hands you a mirror. It's definitely not sinister or cursed, according to the inspection tag.
