Plural: Unknown; currently impossible to determine
This little gizmo can pull traces of rare isotopes out of the air to ridiculous levels of accuracy, helping you trace them back to their source. Which is more often than not a screw or thumb tack or something mostly useless. But occasionally you'll get something good from it.
Also, let's not have any "I so tope" jokes. One, it's not the next "you so fat" and two, it doesn't make any sense.
