big & tall shoreman

You are fighting a big & tall shoreman.

This shore worker isn't just long, he's big and tall.
Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • The shoreman swipes at you with his longshoreman's hook and mauls you something fierce. If you've ever been mauled by a bear, it feels something like that.
  • You try to run and dodge, but this guy's so big he only takes two steps for three of yours. He catches you easily and jerks mercilessly on your arm.
  • He claps his two giant ham-sized fists against your skull, making a ham sandwich. With your head as the bread on the inside and his hands as the ham on the outside. It's a pretty lousy sandwich, I guess.

He hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! He hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • He presses his attack but you refuse to give in to pier pressure.
  • The dock worker tosses you off the dock and into the water, and then watches and laughs as you climb out. You're wet, but basically unharmed.
  • Before he can attack you whip out a piece of rope and deftly tie a stopper not. Obligingly, he stops.

Fumble messages:

Your foe fumbles! He takes X damage.

Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!

You gain 54-87 chips.

You gain 70 experience.

You got an item: big left hook (Unspecified Drop rate)
You got an item: docker's pants (Unspecified Drop rate)
