chemophobic tanker

Who knows what fears lurk in the heart of <foe>? You do, apparently... and so does everyone else now that you've finished your costume change montage.

Costumes get more elaborate every year, but even superheroes have to take notice when someone dresses as an oceangoing tanker. The chemical hazard warnings plastered all over the hull add a nice touch of authenticity too.
Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • The tanker tries to spill out the chemicals it's carrying, only managing to get some on you. (acid) damage
  • The tanker leans over and says "you know what you're made of? Chemicals." She's right! It burns! (acid) damage
  • The tanker beaches herself, spilling her contents everywhere. You jump in, getting covered in acid but saving some adorable ducks. Totally worth it. (acid) damage

She hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! She hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • The tanker tries to spill out the chemicals it's carrying, but the costume's safety procedures are pretty good.
  • The tanker leans over and says "you know what you're made of? Chemicals." You retort that, at this point, you're mostly held together by your talisman anyway.
  • The tanker beaches herself, spilling her contents everywhere. You shoo away the local wildlife so it doesn't get hurt.

Fumble messages:

Your foe fumbles! She takes X damage.

Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!

You gain (8*Level, cap 400) experience.

You got an item: SQUID disc: The Universe and Your Tiny Place in it Squid-disc.gif (Unspecified Drop rate)

Mysterious chemicals spill from the tanker over you. You're not sure if it's the chemicals or passing the acid test, but you regain X PP.

Known resistances/weaknesses

Immune to electric damage.
100% weak to acid damage.

How to Encounter

  • Using Fearsome Disguise skill on foes whose weakness is acid damage.
  • Foes with no weaknesses also randomly generate this foe.

Notes

  • Foes's stats and drops will be replaced by those of the disguised form.
