gilt scabbard
Plural: gilt scabbards
This scabbard would have been the height of style in the 50s... well, some 50s... definitely the 1350s. It looks fit for a king but, rather than staunching bleeding, it sharpens any sword you put in it.
Thankfully, it also sharpens anything else you put in it, so you can get some particularly sharp bullets or a sledgehammer that can cut through a tin can and still slice a tomato.
