Trying to add some information to this. The prefixes I remember off the top of my head:
- Ghostly: immune to physical, can sometimes strike back for huge damage (how?)
- Cloudy: electrically charged, can push player away (affected by elec resis), can sometimes attack for huge damage (how?)
- Aquatic: ???
- Jumping: Seems to have a chance to inflict damage before first round
- Talkative: can't use skills or items
- Fighting: trying to use skills or items results in random skill use
- Frusion: just like frusion monsters (damage cap of 5(?) per element, including physical, and they damage PP not HP)
- Confusing: sidekick can't act(?)
- Devouring: enemy steals random non-special piece of gear (won't eat Skeptic Sandals, Stars, or IotM). If you lose, transform foe, or run away, item is lost. On victory, auto-reequip.
- Ghoulish: Heals HP on hit (looks to be % based)
- Huge: +++Offense, +++Defense, ---to-hit, ---dodge. Presumably +++HP too
- Respawning: Messages about the foe keeps coming back; probably just major HP buff mechanically
Seriously. No clue on Aquatic.
Villains, mini-bosses, and bosses all seem to "flash red" at about half HP, which gives them a major boost to their stats.
