Level is the rank of your character. Levels can be gained in the Heroes' Guild when you have enough experience points and chips. Gaining a level usually also grants a skill. Some items have a minimum level requirement to be equipped and some quests have a minimum level requirement before they can be initiated.
Training twice without leaving the Heroes' Guild screen will give you the Delayed Gratification Merit Badge.
After the first 25 levels, heroes must go to the Nagual Mystic for training instead.
