Lepidoptera shell
Plural: Unknown
Now, butterflies don't typically have shells. It's rare to see one with even half a shell, making them arguably less well-protected than mutant oysters.
But some genius has found a way to fill in for the butterflies' lack of defense with cold, hard steel. And, while they're at it, a little gun powder helps with their offense problems too.
