This seems to be random, as I've gotten 2 different amounts of HP leeched from the same amount of damage. I'd guess it's random between 1 and 10 HP.

You gain some of your opponent's life force. You gain 34 hit points.
Looks like 10% of damage dealt, rounded up. Cristiona

Avoid looking up the leech values on killing blows. You can only leech up to (10% of) the opponent's remaining hit points, so you'll get a lesser value if the opponent is almost dead. --Tycho Everett 14:54, 10 July 2008 (MST)
