Aaron Burr

You are fighting Aaron Burr.

Although he mostly just mopes around in the slums, he's actually an ancient Mesopotamian demigod who's just lost his way, and his memory. Mostly he gets along by challenging people to duels and then taking their money when the bullets fail to put a dent in him. Unfortunately for him, he's forgotten his one weakness--the desert--so he's not nearly as indestructible right now as he normally would be.
Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • He shoots you with a flintlock. You're almost too impressed with the antique to be angry. Almost.
  • He calls you out to a duel. You're so confused by the fact that you were already in the middle of one that you forget to dodge.
  • He calls on his buddies Sargon, Hammurabi, Ashurbanipal, and Gilgamesh to provide a little extra beat down.

He hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! He hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • His flintlock misfires. Ah well, there goes your chance for getting shot by an antique.
  • He calls you out to a duel, but you're already in the middle of one. He's so confused he forgets to shoot you.
  • He tries to call on his buddies but Sargon, Hammurabi, Ashurbanipal, and Gilgamesh aren't returning his calls right now. Cold.

Fumble messages:

Your foe fumbles! He takes X damage.
