vampire leech

You are fighting a vampire leech.

Talk about bloodthirsty. This isn't just a leech, it's a vampire leech. That means it sucks twice the blood -- one part via its sucker-like mouth, and another portion through its hollow teeth. Sure, the teeth are placed where the mouth is, but they jab in much deeper.
Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • The vampire leech doesn't drink your milk shake, but it does drink you like a milk shake... which is probably worse.
  • The leech doesn't drink... wine.
  • The vampire leech attaches to you and you get a little light-headed.
Special Attack: Contact with the vampire leech causes your limbs to numb and weaken. You acquire an effect: Weakened. (Added for 30 minutes.)

It hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! It hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • The vampire leech tries to drink your milk shake, but it gets brain freeze.
  • The leech doesn't drink wine. Or your blood. Maybe it's on a diet.
  • The vampire leech tries to get attached, but you're too afraid of commitment. And vampire leeches.
