Got this at the end of a fight:
(pants img here) Your pants' reputation grows, bringing stronger challengers tonight. (+3 Foe Toughness)
but they still only show (currently +5 ...) in item description ... still it looks like I am getting noticeably increasing XP gains
getting from +1 to +3, perhaps randomly
winning fights using yule blocks:
Your pants' legend has diminished.
- I got +3 foe toughness after winning the first fight of the day and after "Your pants' legend has diminished", and +1 for each fight afterwards. Also, I got "diminished legend" after losing a fight and after running away from a fight. Sanjuro (talk) 21:18, 2 September 2016 (PDT)
I maxxed out at +30 at level 4 and +35 at level 5. Then I got beat up. Praxis
The legend increase is not even guaranteed (looks like it happens less and less often). I only got it to 48 so far (level 256). Also, only two badly remembered datapoints, but this particular legend level might translate to anywhere between +45% and +100% chips, or maybe roughly +100 chips (but only on foes that already drop chips). --XKiv (talk) 09:09, 2 May 2017 (PDT)
