I didn't think to copy down the text; I'll do so next time if I remember.

From today's dash, events are noncombats that have four options: the first two each reduce a different penalty of attempting the challenge by 1, or 2 if you meet some criterion; the third attempts the challenge; the fourth skips the adventure with no time loss. Maybe it was just my imagination, but the text for attempting seemed different for each class.

Blood in the Acid deals physical and acid damage, both of which scale with your max HP. The first option reduces the acid; not sure how it's boosted (all the alts were boosted; I suspect drop rate is related). The second reduces the physical; not sure how it's boosted (all my alts were boosted, even those who can't throw Lightning Bolt.)

Mob Rule deals physical and psychic damage, both of which scale with your max HP. The first option reduces the psychic; no clue how to boost it. The second reduces the physical; boosted if you are a Psion (or maybe if you know Mind Poke).

With Their Freeze Rays deals ice damage scaling with max HP and costs up to an hour of time. The first option reduces the ice; no clue how to boost it (L101 Elem with Arson Thrower wasn't boosted). The second option reduces the time lost; boosted if you are a Gadgeteer (or maybe if you know Electric Net).

Damage

I'm assuming every event of the Hero Dash works the same way (with the exception of With Their Freeze Rays reducing time rather than dealing physical damage). With no resistances or damage absorption, I repeatedly tried (and failed) to rescue dummies in Mob Rule, then decreased the crowd by one person. Data dump below.

Based on the values I've obtained, it appears that X is B * 2 / (N + 2) and Y is B * 2 / (M + 2), where N is number of people removed from the crowd, M is the ratchets of anger toned down, and B is a value that ranges from 1.1 * MaxHP to 1.29 * MaxHP.

Assuming that B can actually go as high as 1.3 * MaxHP (because we love round numbers), this means that in order to guarantee success without resistances, N/M must be 3/4 (in either order). With 50% elemental resistances, this drops to 2/2 or 1(elemental)/3(physical).

On the flip side, it's possible to pass without resistances at only 2/3. With 50% elemental resistances, this drops to 1(elemental)/2(physical) or 0(elemental)/3(physical).

Since With Their Freeze Rays hits time instead of HP, success can be guaranteed by warming by just 1 degree, or having 24% ice resistances.
