Seems it has no hit messages. Only "...and misses.", "and misses (sweet!)", as well as "and misses (phew!)" encountered so far. Anyone got some hit messages? --Alarion 11:44, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Doesn't have any. Question: did you verify all 7 resistances before adding the |res? Just making sure. --Muhandes 12:01, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Yep, I did. My trident does around 40 damage, and it did so for Ice, Psychic and Acid. It did about 60 for Fire. And it always did 1 physical (normal) damage, while the other foes in that area took 1700 damage or so. Seems pretty accurate to me. --Alarion 12:05, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, wow. I'm confused. When using the trident to do elemental damage I require substantially more than 10 rounds to kill this buzzing swarm. The opponent therefore has at least 400 HP. BUT: if I cast a Mind Jab, I do about 70 psychic damage and ... it dies. Instantly. In the first round of combat. What gives? Is the trident's elemental ray buggy? Should I report this? --Alarion 12:20, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Trident elemental damage is buggy, Ryme's been notified. Cristiona 13:58, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Oh, okay. No haste then. Shame, that, then. Would've been really useful against the swarm. :/ --Alarion 14:07, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Elemental damage from the trident has been fixed and verified to work. Cristiona 03:50, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Great, now I can finally kill these swarms with it. :-) Thanks for the info. --Alarion 09:38, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Yet another thing I noticed about this enemy: it seems you cannot encounter him before Alien Geology 101. I'll try it with another character, then I'll add it to the page. Disproves are welcome. :-) --Alarion 13:28, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Nope, never got the adventure yet, and still fought the swarm. --hoyifung04 16:26, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Huh, strange. Thought that I had commented here before. I disproved it myself with my third alt, so no worries about that anymore. --Alarion 18:28, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

It seems to have massive HP if doing only physical damage, but hardly any when encountering Purely Psychic. When I hit it with Telekenetic Katana it always dies in one hit? --Odrin 10:42, september 28, 2010

Its hitpoints are the same regardless. It only seems massive with physical because it's immune to physical and only takes 1 point each round while taking normal damage from elemental sources. Cristiona 21:50, 28 September 2010 (PDT)
