You don't get this effect anymore. Instead, you're automatically logged out of chat, and the sidepane says:
You are currently banned from chat until rollover and may not enter.
Instead of giving the log in link. It was removed because some tools thought it was cool to get this effect. Should you be banned while offline, there's a notice given above the main map that explains that you are banned until rollover. Cristiona 00:51, 18 April 2011 (PDT)
