Since I'm doing the drop and I'm in an area where I can get hit semi-regularly, I figure I might as well spade the block rate too. I was just going to keep track of how many times I get hit and how many times the smuggler fires (the assumption being that it only fires when the enemy ''would have'' hit). Is there any reason to believe that isn't the way to go? --[[User:Jesus|Jesus]] 03:53, 16 September 2009 (UTC) | Since I'm doing the drop and I'm in an area where I can get hit semi-regularly, I figure I might as well spade the block rate too. : I'm 100% sure it fires even if you are not going to be hit. Try using it in the slum, it still fires, though a slum foe is going to have a very hard time hitting me. It is actually very easy to spade this. Just go against a very easy foe and keep doing a non-damaging action. The problem is finding a non-damaging action you can keep doing over and over forever. Using first-aid I quickly did 410 turns against slum foes and 101 of them were blocked. I added the data to the page, more data will make this more accurate but a 25% rate is very likely. I also did it with +25% efficiency and got 37 of 100, exactly what a 25% would suggest. I also added the 50% speculated item drop, at most it is 1% wrong. --[[User:Muhandes|Muhandes]] 09:26, 16 September 2009 (UTC) | : I'm 100% sure it fires even if you are not going to be hit. Pseudo-easter egg thingie!
You attack ... You have a critical hit!
You grin and let out a little whoop of excitement. <permakick> eyes you and says, "Great, kid. Don't get cocky." Cristiona
The "<name> attacks first. Yes, your sidekick attacks first!" line is almost certainly a reference to the "Han shot first" controversy. Anybody with the skill of good phrasing want to add that one to References? Hari Seldon
Better than the clockwork ant?
Anybody have an inkling how powerful this thing is?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Thek3vin (talk • contribs).
- Yes, at level 20 it is most definitely more than 30% (more than 1.5% * level). Current spading points at 45% or more (2.25*level) which is currently the maximum spadable rate. More info on the spading thread.--Muhandes 10:44, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- 77 enerbun drops in 100 turns at the Delta suggests it's in the neighborhood of 50%. More to come. --Jesus 06:35, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
Data
Smuggler + 10% item: 0/1
+20%: 6/7
+30%: 6/7
+40%: 1/2
+45%: 15/16
+48%: 49/50
+49%: 166/167
+50%: 288/288
Based on enerbun drops in the Delta. All +item stuff is from equipment. Smart money's on 50%. Will add to this later. --Jesus 04:09, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
Block rate
Since I'm doing the drop and I'm in an area where I can get hit semi-regularly, I figure I might as well spade the block rate too. Is there any reason to believe that isn't the way to go? --Jesus 03:53, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
