This is a tangled web of superconductors and cables, arranged in some intricate pattern that's apparently conducive to computation. You know this because that's what the attached label says: "SketchiTech Lepton Mesh. Apparently conducive to computation." The word "apparently" makes you a little uneasy, but not so much that you're going to throw away an expensive piece of equipment.
